Description :	Autel de grande dimension en bois sculpté, doré et peint. De chaque côté du tabernacle, panneaux représentant en bas-relief l'Annonciation et la Femme de l'Apocalypse, la lune sous ses pieds avec le serpent tenant la pomme dans sa gueule (ce qui a pu être identifié comme l'Assomption de la Vierge Marie). Au-dessus de l'autel, très beau ciborium, formé d'un baldaquin à consoles renversées supporté par six hautes colonnes.

Historique :	Proviennent de l'ancien couvent des Capucins de Médoux, dont la chapelle était dédiée à la Vierge. Le baldaquin est analogue à celui de la cathédrale de Tarbes, mais plus élégant. L'autel de Médoux et son baldaquin furent donné à la commune d'Orignac en 1793, par le ministre de l'intérieur. L'autel et son tabernacle sont de Marc Ferrère et le baldaquin, d'un de ses fils, Dominique Ferrère.
